VII International Forum "Water tourism"

October 29-30, 2015 the VII International Forum “Water tourism”. The event will be held under the United Russia party project “Saint-Petersburg – the sea capital of Russia” with the assistance and participation of both chambers of Federal Assembly of the RF and other relevant ministries and institutions.

The aim of the forum is the advancement of current legal base in sphere of water tourism and the open discussion of necessary conditions and competitive recovery prospects concerning cruise yacht tourism in Russia.

The event is an instrument of informational interaction between authority and the society. During 7 years the most topical issues of all spheres of water tourism are under the discussion. The forum is one of the leading events in this sphere.

The main issues under consideration will be:

- Prospects of inland water tourism development

- State policy in sphere of cruise and yacht tourism development

- Prospects of border and regional cooperation in sphere of water tourism

- Development of passenger shipbuilding and coastal infrastructure

- Stuff training in sphere of water tourism

- Promotion methods for cruise and yacht tourism

- Safety precautions in sphere of passenger shipping

Nowadays the government assigns high priority to development of inland tourism. Creation of internal tourist product which would be full of different additional services is an important task of Russian tourist market development. Hence the great importance will be attached to internal tourism in Russia and cooperation methods of organizations operating in a culture sector and cruise tour operators and shipping companies.

Topical issues of achievement in sphere of integration of Crimea Republic and Sevastopol in united Russian tourist area.

The forum will be held with the assistance and participation of Culture Ministry of the Russian Federation, Transport Ministry of the Russian Federation, Federal Tourism Agency, Federal Marine and River Transport Agency and other relevant ministries and institutions. More than 300 participants from 40 Russian regions and 20 foreign countries are expected to participate.

The main result of the event will be a resolution with propositions and recommendations from forum participants which will be sent to special-purpose committees of Upper and Lower Houses of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries and institutions for legislation advancement.
