International Eurasian Forum “TAXI”

About the event

August 6-7, 2015 III International Eurasian Forum “TAXI” will be held in Saint-Petersburg. The goal of the event is to elaborate effective solutions in sphere of statutory regulation of taxi business, quality improvement and services safety. The forum will be held with the assistance and participation of State Duma of the Russian Federation, Transport ministry of the Russian Federation, Transport ministry of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, relevant institutions from 40 regions of Russia, representatives of commercial and non-commercial organizations and 10 foreign states.

International Eurasian Forum “TAXI” has been existing for 3 years. During this time the Forum proves itself as a unique platform which gives an opportunity for representatives of professional community, authorities and all concerned parties to share experience of problem solution in taxi market and to express personal opinion concerning perspective directions of the sector development.

In the frameworks of the forum specialized exhibition will take place. The newest examples of taxi equipment and platforms will be presented. Companies of financial sector and manufacturers of software will also show their products for taxi sphere.

The main result of Forum’s activities will be the resolution with solutions and recommendations that are to be sent to profile committees of the upper and lower houses of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, ministries and departments, Open Government for legislation perfection and governmental regulation in taxi operation sphere. Last resolution was considered by Government of the Russian Federation and directed to Transport Ministry of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and Moscow government to form draft amendments to Federal Law project # 472515-6 “About state regulation of passenger transportation with auto car in the Russian Federation and introduction of amendments to certain legal acts”.

Taxi companies, taxi operation control centres, automobile manufacturers, specialized equipment producers and software developers, leasing and financial organizations, insurance companies, driver training centres, automobile components and chemicals producers, automobile service providers and gasoline retail stations, medical institutions, advertising and marketing agencies, public organizations and non-commercial unities are invited to participate in the event.
