The largest water company in Russia acted as a partner of Forum "Ecology"

Permanent participant of the Forum "Ecology" JSC "Mosvodokanal" has become a partner of the Event. Company representatives will take part in the business program of the Forum, and in the exhibition area the stand of the water utility will be presented. Company’s Chief Specialist of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Department Aleksei Belov will make a presentation at the relevant working sessions.

«Mosvodokanal» is the largest water company in Russia, providing services in the sphere of water supply and wastewater disposal, and indisputable leader of the industry. The company provides more than 15 million people in Moscow and the Moscow region with drinking water, that that corresponds to quality criteria of not only domestic but also the regulatory requirements of the leading countries of the world. This is confirmed by the results of the international research activities of water utilities conducted by the European Benchmarking Cooperation (EMC) with the support of the International Water Association (IWA). The company is a recognized technological leader in implementation of new technologies. Mosvodokanal completely abandoned the use of liquid chlorine to disinfect drinking water and switch to sodium hypochlorite solution. JSC "Mosvodokanal" operates the world's largest unit for UV disinfection of wastewater; and the largest in Russia ozone-sorption blocks and membrane filtration system are used at the water preparation plants of Moscow. The lowest in the world percent of water losses in the networks – 5.3% – is reached in Moscow.
