The participants of the Forum "Transport Security" will discuss the latest legislation

The topic of improving the legislation in the sphere of transport security, traditionally, is one of the main at the Forum. During the Forum 2017 the discussion of legislative initiatives, which are currently considered by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, will be delivered to the agenda of the plenary session.

The participants will discuss a long-awaited law "On non-surface transport", dedicated primarily to the metro. The law should establish clear rules for the carriage of passengers, standards of technical operation for every type of non-surface transport and delimit the powers of federal, regional and municipal authorities in this area. It is expected that this will give airlines the right to restrict the access on board for persons, who flagrantly violate the rules of conduct during the flight before. In light of the constantly emerging news about the riots on board of aircraft and high risk of such behavior for the rest of the passengers this bill is one of the most pressing issues of the transport industry. The bill that is supposed to regulate issues related to the traffic in Russia is also under consideration of the State Duma. It will be among the discussed topics of the Forum too.

Evgenii Moskvichev, the Head of the relevant Committee on transport and construction of the State Duma is invited to participate in the plenary session and present the legislative initiatives at the Forum. Guests of the Forum will have an opportunity to learn first-hand information about the details and prospects of the bills, to ask questions to the Head of the Committee and to make proposals for their improvement.
