International Eurasian Forum “TAXI”

In August, 2014 the II International Eurasian Forum “TAXI” will be held in Saint-Petersburg.
Taxi business is one of the most complicated types of entrepreneurship considering normative regulation. The process of forming adequate legislation basis has recently been launched on the territory of the Eurasian space member states. As a result along with the value of reforming there were a large number of issues for which efficient solutions need.
The International Eurasian Forum "TAXI” is declared as the unique discussion platform on the post soviet space where the representatives of the professional authorities and all interested audience may discuss the received experience and advice the constructive answers from the taxi industry of the Eurasian States.
The main themes of the business programme will be: the state policy in the sphere of transportation by taxi on the Eurasian space, development of Russian federal and regional legislation about taxi, improvement of enforcement actions to the shadow angle of taxi carriage, innovative technologies and financing tools for the taxi business development.
A significant place in the Business programme of the Forum will be featured to the discussion of mostly vital issues of the Russian taxi industry, such as security of taxi drivers and passengers, fight with illegal transfers, unfair business struggle, absence of the necessary infrastructure, taxi autopark colour unification, tachographes and GLONASS equipment provision and etc.
Within the framework of the Forum an exhibition will be held where the newest samples of dedicated taxi equipment and platform will be presented. Also IT and financing companies will show their products for the taxi business development.
The Forum "TAXI" will be supported and participated by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; the National Taxi Council, International Road and Transport Union (IRU); Eurasian Economic Commission, Ministry on Transport of the Russian Federation, profile bodies of executive power of more than 40 regions of Russia, representatives of commercial and non-profit organizations from 10 foreign states.
The main result of Forum’s activities will be the resolution with solutions and recommendations that are to be sent to profile committees of the upper and lower houses of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, ministries and departments, Open Government for legislation perfection and governmental regulation in taxi operation sphere.
Taxi companies, taxi operation control centres, automobile manufacturers, specialized equipment producers and software developers, leasing and financial organizations, insurance companies, driver training centres, automobile components and chemicals producers, automobile service providers and gasoline retail stations, medical institutions, advertising and marketing agencies, public organizations and non-commercial unities are invited to participate in the event.
