VII International Forum Transport and Transit Potential

About the event

On October 9-10, 2014 the VII International Forum “Transport and Transit Potential” will take place within the “UNITED RUSSIA” Party Project “Saint-Petersburg – the sea capital of Russia” in Saint-Petersburg.

The Forum will be held with the support of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, specialized ministries and administrations, the regional authorities, commercial and non-commercial organizations.

In this year the main discussion topic of the Forum will be the realization and capacity of building in the transport and transit sphere of Russia and the Eurasian space taking into account the new territorial subjects of the Russian Federation – the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The Forum’s participants will talk over the problems of regulatory support of the freight handling, development prospects of logistics service sphere, ways of liquidation of infrastructure barriers, fee policy, customs regulation, opportunities of rolling stock renewal and others.

It is expected that in 2014 year about 600 delegates from 50 Russian regions and 10 foreign countries will participate in the event.

The Forum will be resulted in the resolution with proposals and recommendations which will be directed to the profile committees of the Upper and Lower Chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, ministries and administrations, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in order to improve the legislative base and government control in the sphere of cargo traffic on the Eurasian space.

Cargo owners, transport and logistics companies, subjects of transport and logistics infrastructure, companies of the transport engineering manufactures, engineering and building organizations, manufacturers of equipment and hardware for the transport complex, leasing, consulting, finance and insurance companies are invited to participate in the Forum.
